Thai food place in Norwalk. The charm of this old place was in its old home. Before it was torn down and made to look like Panera, Renu Nakorn was a hole-in-the-wall, falling down, hardly noticeable gold mine! When I first visited this place I was skeptical. I went in to this cramped little restaurant, lined with newspaper articles about its outstanding food. I ate with a professor and several classmates, and while I shoveled the fantastic food into my mouth at surprising speeds I began to relax and really enjoy the atmosphere. The restaurant has since been rebuilt. The food is still outstanding, don’t get me wrong, but now the glitz matches the menu and I’m just not sure I am still AS in love. It’s worth a visit. If it is your first time, you will not miss its old charm and you may just find yourself a new favorite Thai place.
